"There is a discreet but not invisible touch of wood framing the very fresh nose of red and dark cherry along with notes of newly turned earth, humus and a lovely floral hint. Here too there is both fine volume and good energy to the slightly bigger tension-filled flavors that terminate in an ever-so-mildly edgy finish. There is quite a bit of gas present which complicates judging the phenolic maturity of the supporting structure and hence my predicted range is a bit wider than it usually is."
