The Rocca family has lived and farmed in Barbaresco since 1834. A seminal moment in their long history is the purchase of a plot of Rabajà, a famed Barbaresco cru, in 1958. In 1978, the family began to bottle their wines under the Bruno Rocca name. Today, the children of Bruno, Francesco and Luisa Rocca run the family business.
Bruno Rocca owns 15 hectares of vineyards of which 70% is planted with Nebbiolo. Their wines are always scented with beautifully integrated oak, using a combination of barriques and large Slovenian oak barrels for maturation.
